The Mini-Conference is about a newly granted university-level project titled, “Big Data for School Improvement: Identifying and Analyzing Multiple Data Sources to Support Schools as Learning Communities.” This is an outcome-oriented project by participating into the research and analysis of which leads to research outputs such as refereed journal publications and conference presentations.
At the Mini-Conference, project team members Professor Magdalena Mo Ching Mok (ARC & PS), Professor Kerry Kennedy (CGC & C&I), Professor Kee Lee Chou (APS), and Professor Manu Kapur (PS) introduced the project, gave presentations on the concept, possibilities and examples of Big Data, and invited interested colleagues and students to join or lead the research teams.
