The meeting was organised for all the colleagues and students who are interest in participating in the project entitled, “‘Big Data’ for School Improvement: Identifying and Analyzing Multiple Data Sources to Support Schools as Learning Communities.” Prof. Kerry Kennedy chaired the meeting; Professor Allan Walker and Professor Magdalena Mo Ching Mok briefly introduced the project. Dr Jinxin Zhu and Dr Xiaoxue Kuang explained the structure of six datasets (ICILS, PIRLS, TIMSS, ICCS, PISA and TALIS) and point out potential topics/themes for future publication.
