For International Understanding
To understand how education is enacted around the world and build theories which are locally and internationally.

For Local Student Good
To influence policy and resource allocation by the collection, analysis and open sharing of data.

For Better Communities
To inform community health and well-being by tracking the Big Data and feeding the data back into the right services.
Objectives

Ask the right questions so that the positive power of data can be harnessed

Work with locally collected and stored data to make Hong Kong schools and communities better places
-
Work with big international data bases to position the university as influential producers and users of knowledge

Position the university to launch other international comparative studies

Project Funding

The project is funded by the Central Reserve Allocation Committee and the Faculty of Education and Human Development of The Education University of Hong Kong.
